I thought this section looks dead so here is the first post in the last 60 days.

Anyone keep Fish, dog, birds or reptiles?

I recently purchased a 3 month old Golden retriever. His name is Toto. Named by my 4 year old.

I also has a 40 gallon tank that I manager to kept most of my tetras alive for years. Until recently my New Angel fish additional from 3 month ago starting terrorizing the peaceful community.

I used to have parakeets and cockatails but gave them away before my kids were born per Doctor's recommendation.

As for reptiles that I currently keep 2 red ear slider for about 6 month now. They grew from 2" to 2 1/2".

Very nice. I hope you've learn your lesson with $150.00
I gave up Salt Water fish after wasted about $2000 in 2 years of my amature learning stage with my parents money 20 years ago. Its been haunting me since. So, I only keep Tropical fish now mainly because I do not have any money to waste.

Salt water fish are indeed the most beautiful fish to keep. But most fish are either wild caught or just plain too sensitive to changes. They are also very picky eater. Most of my fish die simply due to refuse to eat. Just think about the inflation from 20 years ago when I first attempted the hobby. it'll translate into close to $10000.00 It's amazing that my parent did not kill me because I would.
