| Do we only get like 3-4 channels during the preview period or do we need to activate or call someone to get the rest of the channels? same with traffic, everytime i click it, its always saying that theres no info for 30miles... is this something thats common? |

| You need to call XM and get them to "shoot" you a signal. This happened to me a couple of months ago. XM had some software issue that was well covered on the boards, but mine needed to reconnect a signal. It is quite simple and took like 5 minutes on the phone. |

| thanks, i 'll try calling them today... so i should get all the stations then right? hopefully this fixes the traffic problem too |

Make sure you tell them to turn on the traffic too... I had to call three times, once to activate XM and twice to activate the traffic. Each time, I had to sit in the car with it running so it could receive the code, it took about 10-15 minutes. |
