I'm thinking of getting a hitch to haul the bikes around. I have a trunk mount from the car which I haven't tried yet -- anything touching the paint makes me nervous! I've seen a lot of suggestions for etrailer and hidden hitch, people saying a hour to install, but no photos. I don't want to see the hitch any more than I have to.
So which hitch should I get? Are they completely simple to install? Any photos?

| Thanks. Yes, I was just looking at that link, but no photos (or at least ones that load correctly). I've searched for an hour or so and thought maybe a refreshed post was in order since most are over 2 years old. Do you have a hitch? |

I have a hidden hitch with a full size spare. Installation was a bit tricky (the hitch is awkward). But I found using a jack stand helps and speeds up the install. Of course I found this out after dinking with it for about 20 minutes. |

thats good to know, I also have hidden hitch but was told the FSS would not fit.... I have a spare rim sitting in my garage waiting another month when I get new tires so i can rotate a used one to the spare rim and "see" if it fits
i REALLY like the hidden hitch on my MDX, looks great and actually very hidden out of the way |

I can confirm the full size spare fit just fine with the Hidden Hitch I have on my 04, not sure it's the same as 05, but i assume it prob is.
