I've been reading thru the archives for some time now about replacing my (rattly, lame) Bose subwoofer with a JL, Alpine, or Polk.
I thought I might try just stuffing a bunch of polyester batting in the recessed opening first to see if that helps.
My concern:
Seems like this might be hazardous having that flammable stuff crammed in there.
Anyone know if my concern is valid?
Thanks... |

| Don't think polyfill is going to do much to help, try using sound deadning material such as Dynamat Xtreme or the like to stop panel resonances. |
