Subwoofer enclosure fiber fill hazardous? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I've been reading thru the archives for some time now about replacing my (rattly, lame) Bose subwoofer with a JL, Alpine, or Polk.
I thought I might try just stuffing a bunch of polyester batting in the recessed opening first to see if that helps.

My concern:
Seems like this might be hazardous having that flammable stuff crammed in there.
Anyone know if my concern is valid?
Thanks...

Don't think polyfill is going to do much to help, try using sound deadning material such as Dynamat Xtreme or the like to stop panel resonances.
