I used to have a 1998 Acura CL. I had a Yakima rack (the towers hooked on in between the door frame and the roof) with the round cross bars. On the round crossbar, I had a snowboard attachment (the one that scissors).
My question is this: for the 2007 MDX, what do I need to do to get the snowboard attachment on the car. I definitely need the roof rails.
Do I get the crossbars from Acura too? Or is there a way to use the round Yakima crossbars? If I get the Acura crossbars, will the Yakima snowboard rack fit on it?
Please advise.
Thanks. |

I recently posted some pics of my Yakima rack on the stock rails. If you get the Yakima Low Rider clamps, you can use the round crossbars that you're refering to.
Here's the pics, you'll see what I mean.

Very nice looking rack. I opted it out since I never use it once with my ML500 in my 4 years of ownership. I still dream about what to use it for from time to time. |
