I finished today. I'm a middle aged tough guy, and I was crying. What an incredible world she created. It's been a nine year long serial for me.
After finishing, I had the same awed feeling as when I left Apocalypse Now, and the first Star Wars. I've never seen anything like this.
This was no "kids book". Jo Rowling knew where she was going to take us, and she took us there.
