I got a good deal online for the Turtlewax Ice and I'm very happy with it. Took me about 3 hours because the wax took a little time to buff out. But the liquid clay bar and spray detailer was cake. Sprayed about 3 coats of the spray detailer waiting 20 mins in between coats.

I thought it was supposed to be easy to apply and take off and could be used on black rubber, plastic, etc?

I actually opted for the paste instead of the liquid wax. I applied the wax in everything except the windows. The same goes with the spray detailer.

So you think the liquid would be easier to apply then? I was thinking of getting this as an "in between" wax and for trips if it was that easy to use, especially on rubber and stuff

Are the shoes an integral part of the waxing process?:2:

If the liquid wax is anything like the spray detailer, then it should be a piece of cake. I just opted for the paste since I thought it would last longer.

Yesterday I used the liquid "polish" on my black MDX and my wife's silver Cadillac. I was very unimpressed.

Seemed to me that the so called polish was just another version of the silicon spray detailer. Maybe they made a mistake at the factory and put the wrong substance in the bottle.

There was no way that the "polish" did any polishing. This was very easy to see on the black MDX as little blemished that I have always polished out were not even touched.

The only result that I could see was a slight increase in the shine and a slick feel to the finish.

So much for a $15.00 bottle of Ice Liquid Polish.

I put Turtle-wax Ice (the Liquid type) on my MDX two weeks ago. It took less than 1 ounce to do the entire car and was easy to apply.

If you use it make sure you have all water spots off the finish because it does not clean anything off the paint or finish.

Then it rained for several days and got dirty. When I washed the car, I had never felt the washing brush go across the car so smoothly and easily. It really made the surface slick. So far I really like it, but have no idea how long it will last.

It really helped the black rubber and black plastic parts on the car. I even put it on all windows except the front windshield ( Use Rain-X on Front).

I hope it helps when the twice a year LOVE BUG Season hits here in Florida.

It was easy to apply to my 9 month old MDX. I also put it on my wife's 2002 RSX and it looks and feels nice.

Those things are nasty. We were visiting my in-laws around Memorial Day this year in south FL. You had a terrible season this year. Unbelievable the amount of bugs you would see plastered to the front of vehicles. The large white semi trucks with flat fronts on their trailors show the best carnage. Glad it's you and not me.

I think that the Turtle Wax Ice might be good to use if you have already polished (and possible waxed) your vehicle with a product designed to polish.

The Ice is so easy to use that it could be used after each wash to provide a bit of shine to the surface.

It MAY help keep the Luv Bugs from sticking. I do not believe that it will clean them off after hitting.
