Is there a difference in the design or placement for the cargo cover for the 2001-2002 and 2003-2006.
I have a 2001 one with a cut out for the handle portion, where you pull out the cover/shade part.
Need to get a new one, and seen some for different years, specifically 2003-2006, the picture looks to have the handle portion missing. (Prefer w/o the open section to fully keep things covered.) |

| I'm pretty sure they are all the same 01 to 06... I'd like to see a pic of this cut out you're talking about..... |

A dealer clarified this, stating the Acura released the photo for the cargo cover but later made the handle to help open and close the shade.
Without the handle is better in my opinion cause it gives more coverage to the whole cargo cover concept. |

| That's going to suck. I just bought a used one on eBay. It arrived damged. The seller shipped in plain bubble wrap only and thought it would be fine. I noticed there were two tiny pins on the collars that hold it in place. They were broken plus it was dented so I returned it. It did rattle and make noise over bumpy streets. Now a brand new one is expected any day from a dealer. It better be noise free. I won't be able to deal with that. |

| Mine was/is brand new from the dealer a few years ago and it squeaks. Had to stuff some paper/card stuff into the end cap and then it stopped squeaking. This paper/card is not visible since it slides inside the gap between the long metal bar and the plastic end cap... |

Thanks for the tip, I will try it. That said, both mine new squeek. In fact I had the first one replaced and the second squeeked as well. |

| I've only run into that maybe a half dozen times since October 2000. Strange, since at the height of sales for them I was pushing out close to 100 a month. |

How much was the cover? I bought mine used and it didn't come with one. |

| A good price would be around $100. Mine just came new from Acura of Temecula. I recommend buying new versus trying to save a few bucks going used. (Went that route on eBay, usually have good buys there, but this was a waste of time.) They are small pins that can easily break in the collars. These will cause things to rattle. Also, the new cargo cover has felt on the ends of the collars, which further reduces any vibration/noise. |
