Hi,
Since I got 02 MDX - about 3 months now --
I have been monitoring every single complaint I've seen on this site....My main concern was as you may guess the transmission...
I got it with 126K km -- I started to have nightmares with noises and checking every now an then fluid levels and gear shifting....
Well. now the X has got 131K and after my last trip of 4500 Km to PEI ... I have nothing to say bu that I am pleased I got this car....
I am loving the performance, roomyness, sound, seats, etc..... And yes we do not put much mileage in our cars. This is my wife's cas and she drives it to work only .. - about 15 KM per day....
This is my first time I decide to buy and keep a car with what I consider "high" mileage. The question now is:
- What is the longest mileage you have in your X -- of course I am dealer servicing the X --- ??
- Have anyone put smaller and wider tires ? Although this may affect fuel consumption, I beleive it would be more stable and of course look nicer..
'
- I am looking to install a hitch and always see that tranny cooler is in place ? is this a must ?
- I am surprise how exclusive we are, during my week trip across five canadian provinces, I only saw 4 X's, 3 Acadia, 2 X5, No Lexus, 1 Mercedes....and lots of GMC Sierra, Ford and Chevrolet... I am not sure, however it looks Ford, GMC's and Chevys are 'better' to pull RVs ? -- Or is it just that MDX owners don;t drive but fly to final destination ??
I thought I share thsi with you guys after been reading for the last three months./
