Just finished installing a new Alpine iDA-X001 head unit inot my 2003 MDX with BOSE (no navigation). All went well except for the fact that I have no AUDIO!!

I used the Scosche HA028F wiring harness and carfully soldered it to the harness that came with the Apline deck. I check and recheck all the connections. Nothing was modifyied to the car. I'm assuming that my new deck will feed into the BOSE amp and all should be well. Right?

Is there someting I don't know. Please Help.

I did check the Apline to see if it's functional. It is. I was able to feed the RCA outputs into a home amp and all was well. I connected a pair of speaker wires directely to one of the BOSE speakera, and that worked as well. I reconnected the original radio to see if it was still fonctioning, and I was.

I'm not sure what to do next.

Similar thing happened to me putting in a W200 in my 06. Did you hook the X001's remote turn on wire to the factory turn on wire? I got no sound until I did this. The Bose amp has to be turned on. For me, it was a blue wire from my W200 to the Blue wire on the harness adapter. Yours should be the same or maybe Blue/White wire. Make sure it is the remote turn on and not the power antenna wire.
