i recently moved about 35 miles away from my Acura dealer and a new Honda Dealership just opened up about 3 miles from my house. I was thinking about taking my 03 MDX to them for the 60k maintenance.
Can i get some opinions on this? Is it a good idea? OR is the MDX so different from the Pilot? |

Only problem here is what you will do with the amount of money you will save.
There are numerous posts on this subject. Suggest you do some browsing.
Before you go in, READ YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL.
Type up exactly what you want done and have the dealer do that - no more no less.
BTW, you do not even have to go to either an Acura or Honda dealer for service. Any competent shop can do the work which is quite routine. As to filters, buy them from Tim at HondaWorld.

| IMO, going to the Acura dealer for service is a rip off with no benefits. I go to a smallish garage that specializes in Hondas and Toyotas (run by Koreans). They do everything for almost half what the dealers charge. |
