Just wanted to see if any other MDX owners have had the same issue with sound comming from the headsets. Everything works well with the exception of the DVD, from time to time I get sounds out but not all the time. I spoke to the dealer and they though it was a bad DVD, however, other DVD have been tried with same results. Any suggestions?

| Did you know that you must put the headsets on the right way (right to right ear, left to left ear). They use an infrared wireless link and the infrared TX / RX is on the front. if you put them on backwards you sometimes get a relectionoff the window and it works, but most of the time it doesn't. |

| Do both headsets have the same problem? It may be the wireless transmitter on the DVD unit if that's the case. And you've probably tried this aleady but what happens if you replace the headset batteries? Have the dealer test a different headset to test the DVD unit theory, and if all else fails, then they can replace it. |

bartea80,
My wife and I just got an 07 a week ago. Sport with Ent. One of the headsets on ours does the same thing according to my daughter. I will be asking the dealer about it. I have her ensure they were facing the correct direction and she said "oh" and then it worked again. She has long hair and I also made sure she was not covering the phones. I'll keep and eye on it and report if my "suggestions to her" suddenly fix the problem.
Also, does anyone know if these are the same headsets and remote controls as the 05-06 Honda Pilots?
So far we love the vehicle. Traded in my '04 Accord EX-V6 with Navi for this puppy. Looks great next to our '02 MDX. I'll later be whining about premium fuel for both of my vehicles now, but "oh well". Vs. the 2002 base model this thing rocks! (except that I do hate the head restraints in the front row!!!!) |

| I took the vehicle to the dealer and what they found was a loose connection in back of the DVD system. The DVD systems has its own indipendent connection and is seperate from XM, Radio and CD. We have tried it for more than a week and it has work fine. Everyone thanks for your suggestions. |
