tryin' to find1
Well, I found one.....finally. Let me ask you guys a question. Seeing that I've waited so long and will be picking up my MDX this Monday from a dealership 6+ hours away, what's the fastest speed you guys think I can drive w/o potentially causing harm to the new engine. I know this is an extremely anal question, but is there a break in period like with so many other new cars? What is it?

Tim, I got them to match your prices on most of the accessories I wanted (Thank you) but they wanted to charge me $895 for the boards. I'll be buying them from you as well as a bunch of other things so don't worry.

Mine's in the car (in the garage so I'll wing it):

No hard acceleration for 600 miles. There is NO top speed limit, just watch hard accelerations.

No hard braking for about (?) 500 miles or so. No towing for a while also.

As I said its spelled out in the manual, nothing too restrictive.

I must add, No constant speed for the first 600 miles. That is from the manual.

One of my other car advisor told me to keep on the high side of the speed limit is better than slower city street but do varying the speed a lot so the engine is not set in for a particular speed.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.
