Hello All,
I am in the market for an Acura MDX but am concerned with the overall width of the SUV. Taking into account the side mirrors has anyone had problems garaging the MDX? I have a standard 2-car garage which I believe has a 93" door opening, is this going to be a concern? Would appreciate any thoughts you might have.
Thanks,
Wayne |

| Tell dealer your concern and he should let you take one home for a test. It worked for me. |

Welcome to the board, Wayne!
The overall width of the MDX has received a lot of attention in previous posts. I suggest you use the search feature, but
here's a thread that you might find particularly helpful: http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/show...garage+mirrors.
Good luck. |

| Tell your service dealership folks to use what they are supposed to and DO IT CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME! Here is the product BEST to address your known issue with AC's......basically you have moisture in your AC system. Try Wurth and make sure they do it the correct way which is to get to those AC filters by removing the glove box, couple bolts and get to the AC fan and spray an entire can of this stuff while engine and ac running for like 15 minutes.....Spraying in the vents is just ass backwards. Tell your service folks to smell the coffee, better yet, smell the bacteria coming from your AC system. Most likely culprit: Short drives in the hot of the day with ac running. Bacically is you leave a large glass of ice and water in the warm temp, you will notice condensation on the outside of the glass, same snizt is happening with your ac system.....hope this helps ! |

| This is the area on my RL that had the same snizts happening until I took this job into my own hands and fixed the issue......notice the month I was addressing this issue! September (hot hot hot) with short drives to and back from the store.....this causes it..... |

I was a part of that thread. I asked a sales person and he drove home with me one weekday night (40 miles round trip during rush hour) so I could pull into my garage. I also have 93" doors and pull in with less than 2" on each side and as tight as that seems, it's really a piece of cake.
On a side note, although that guy didn't give me the best price on the car (by a slim margin), he was quite reasonable to work with and he spent lots of time with me, I bought from him. |
