Hi -
We're considernig the purchase of a new MDX. We've owned 6 Acuras previously (3 Integras and 3 Legends) so we feel like we know what we'll be getting should we decide on the MDX.
One thing, though: I'm really not a big fan of the stock grille setup. I don't want a grille guard or anything like that, I just want to know if there are any alternative grilles available, and if anyone has pics?
I've searched this forum, plus Googled, but haven't found anything for the '07+ model.
I have no particular style in mind - just something different.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't really want to paint and re-paint as it gets chipped up by road debris.

Well, we just picked my wife's new Pearl White/Parchment Sport/Ent MDX last week. Nice vehicle, if a bit big compared to the Audi A6 2.7T sedan she drove previously.
I still haven't found an alternative grille, but may not bother - she doesn't seem to mind the stock piece.
Looking forward to many (hopefully) trouble-free years with this truck. Great to have a resource like MDX.org - thanks. |

| It's kind of funny how the grille used to get so much attention on this forum. Now...not so much. Are we all getting used to/accepting it? I know it has grown on me. |

I don't know i kinda always liked it ...it reminds me of the batman logo ...the grill is the center of the bat and the lights are the wings ..you know:
which isn't a bad thing :p |

| I think the aftermarket grille needs more detail. Maybe if we put the starfleet A emblem in the middle, or even cut in the A emblem and wings from the OEM grille. |

Maybe if we didn't run off the first guy who was trying this :rolleyes: ..or maybe if he wasn't so sensitive :2: ..we may know already what it looks like with an emblem etc. on it ...now we need another guinea pig :p |
