My 2007 MDX has been getting very poor gas mileage (12-13) city and as high as 18 pure highway. I also think it's sliggish for a 300 HP engine... It almost seems like a brake is dragging but when I put it in neutral ona slight decline it rolls freely.
Also, my exhaust tips have black around the bottom edge.
Anyone else have this? |

I have had my X about 5 months. Mine gets black on the bottom of the exhaust in between washings. I take a damp towel and the black wipes right off.
I will have to say that I have never had a car/SUV where the black "exhaust film" accumulated like on my X. However, it does come off easily so I am not too worried about it. |

| My tips get the black dust also. MPG appears to be improving with additional miles. I am up to 5,600 miles and combined MPG is averaging around 19. |
