| Hi guys, just got a 07 MDX a week ago. i'm planning to switch out the front speakers and the sub. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. |

| noone has upgraded thier speakers on a 07? will the infinity 62.7 fit a 07? |

| I don't think you'll like the Infinitys in teh 07 door. The 07 has much improved speakers. Listen critically for awhile- you'll see that the front sound stage is dominant, and the door speakers are fill. |

Thank you for your reply, guess i'll just upgrade the sub for now. is the sub on 07 same size as the previous models? |

No- the sub is now a sub and amp combo in a box. That's another one you may want to re-consider. Turn the bass up on notch, turn the sub-woofer up on notch, and play Copeland's Fanfare for a Common Man. The kettle drums will move you. Literally.
I spent a couple of hundred dollars replacing the three front stage speakers with a CDT Audio 3 inch mid driver and TW 25 tweeters (through one of their top crossovers). The difference is only slightly noticable until you hit high volumes. |
