I have an 01 and I'm trying to replace the rear stabilizer linkage but I can't seem to get the bolts to budge. I can get the hex wrench placed but then can't loosen the bolts. Any hints on how best to do this?

Soak the bolts with a good penetrating oil such as PB Blaster. Then let it sit for 24 hours. This should help break loose the rust. If this fails you may try using a SMALL extension on the wrench. Heat will sometimes help if the part in in a position where you can safely get a torch to it.

Hi cazhog,
mine is 02 mdx. 48K miles. not sure if the dealer will fix it under warranty. it looks very easy to fix by myself. i might be able to save the driving time by DIY. did you actually do it yourself? was it a easy job? did you use some tools to press bent the stabilizer bar so that the link fits in? thanks.
