I'm just gonna babble about the cargo cover and transaction from theX . He's an all-around stand-up guy, and, as soon as I said go, he shipped. Ask him about anything else he's got lying around -- the post above doesn't really communicate his garage's inventory!
Thanks again. |

Whatsup NOX? How's going? Anyway, let me reply here, so others can see it too.
I did sell the HID kit but that one was from XenonDepot. As I
cleaned out the garage (per Mrs.), I found another set that was purchased from another group buy (not XenonDepot). I was going to put that in the fog but never got a chance and eventually forgot all about it. I've tested it recently and make sure that it works. Technically, the HID has been fired up once for 5 sec. Everything is new in the box. It replaces 9006 type bulbs and the brightness is 4300K (more white than blue).
The touchup paint pen is OEM (nighthawk black color), I bought it on Ebay and used once to fix a small chip and scratch before returning the 2003 MDX. So, its slightly used but comes in handy for those minor paint chips.
Let me know if you need more info. |

OK, so about install:
I've read a lot of threads about HID install, obv, but does this kit come with weatherproof cases or whatever it was for the ballast, etc?
I'm completely paranoid that I'm thinking of some other discussion, but I recall that some kits came with plastic cases that went around the modules. I can build out, it just makes it harder and more prep-intensive.
I'm in for the paint -- but we'll ship that with the HID's if I pull the trigger.
As for me, I'm loving Chicago snow. You know why? Because I have the awesomest truck ever.
Thanks, Xman! |

I believe you are talking about the weatheproof case for the ballast. The ballast from this kit does not have a plastic case over the ballast. I can see the adv of having one. But my other kit from Xenondepot did not one either (earlier model), it was fine. It also depends where the ballast is installed. I did mine between the headlights behind the grille (followed an instruction from this forum), some people suggested putting it all the way behind the fog light unit (this could get wet more easily).
Its snowing here in NYC too. |

OK, so that's a good answer. I still might consider finding a weatherproof solution, but I'll definitely have an offer for you by the weekend.
I have to use my Ninja Jew skills to get you to throw me a bargain. Yeah, I just said that. Because I have no shame.
Yeah, I'm not 100% acquainted with what kind of snow y'all got there, but Chicago is having the kind of continuous overlay of snow that makes me remember my childhood. And every time we get fresh snow? Covers up all the ugly plowed brown snow. You can't beat it. |

With the ski rack do I need the roof rack part from the dealer or can I just attach the ski rack right to the roof. Right now I have nothing up there.
Also, I just realized that the HIDs were not xenondepot so ill have to wait and see on those. |

Dean - The price above does not include shipping. The cost for shipping to Toronto via USPS is probably around the range of 8 and 9 (USD). So, if you're still interested, then please let me know. Also, the condition of the knob is great. No scratch or tear. It comes with the orig box.
Thanks,

The shifter arrived today, looks brand new as you indicated. The kids will love getting it all gummy with their candy!
I am also amazed at how quickly it arrive, do you know someone at Canada Customs? Thanks so much and I will try to keep the kids away. |
