I would love to see the Legend and Accord Euro spank the RL and TL respectively. The Odyssey looks odd (excuse the pun) without sliding doors. The Elysion looks nice. Too bad they're RHD and will not likely pass US standards. |

| The wagon comes with a 2.4l engine and 4WD. Why don't we have that here? I'd get that over an MDX any day. It would even fit in my garage with the roof box on it (unlike my MDX). |

Don't forget they drive on the wrong side of the road like the Brits. (steerling wheel on opposite side) |

That's why I noted they're RHD. :) |

Yeah, if you browse through that collection, most will have an option for AWD. Strange since Tokyo (and most of Japan) doesn't really have that bad of a climate.
The Honda MDX is also missing from the lineup. |

| I thought that the MDX is under the "new" moniker Acura in Japan now. |

Tricky importation laws. I was seriously looking into importing a RHD Integra a couple years back, and it never materialized.
There's a site called www.japanesevehicles.com that sells used Japan market vehicles cheaply, but try and get one into the US if you're not a member of the military..... |

Ha, that probably explains the absence. |

I totally disagree with this, my friend has purchased a Toyota Hiace from japanesevehicles.com (Trust Co. Ltd). He was told the vehicle is in very good condition and has no damages at all (The price were little high but the vehicle was good in the pictures). When he received the vehicle the Pressure plates was broken, damaged and stripped threads in flywheel, Gear box full of grease and considerable amount of rust…
NO DISCLOSURE FROM TRUST COMPANY PRIOR TO PURCHASE
How could their Technicians miss the rust? Either there was no inspection, their inspectors are blind or Trust Guys knew of the damage and just chose not to disclose. I'm not seeking another vehicle, but if I was would not do business with a Company I do not trust. |
