| My steering wheel became a little loose and I can shake it up and down with my hand. There is also big clearance when I turn it as well as knocking sound. The problem seems to be somewhere in the steering column. I tried to remove plastic cover around it by unscrewing 3 bolts on the lower side but I could not remove it because of the key lock that goes right through the cover. Does anyone know how to remove that cover so that I can check where is the problem? |

| Don't do this unless yuo are an experienced mechanic. The driver's air bag is right there- one mistake and it will blow up ("deploy") in your face. It will be costly to fix if it does. Your face, that is. |
