Guys, Please check the end of your dash board for me to verify if yours is also soft and can be pressed down an inche at easy. This is where your dashboard meet your windshield. I believe my is missing some sort of molding or bracket after they replaced my Windshield but I can not confirm it as I never touch that part of my dashboard yet before my windshield cracked.

Checked last night in 3 areas (left, middle & right). All appear in placed & wouldn't go down at all. BTW mine was manufactured in Sep 2006.

Lionspeed, when you place your windshield sun shade does it slip thru the gap between the dash board and windsheld? Is there a molding there?

I will check & confirm this for you as soon as I get home this evening. I'm driving a different car today. |

m500. Just took a picture & retried (pushing it down again for the 2nd time) ... same result, would not go down. Appears to have no molding of any type. See picture & perhaps compare the gap or some reference points to your current dash. Hope this helps.
