I am looking at the a MDX Tech & Ent Dealer is at $41,500 for 07 or for $623 more for the 08 What is the difference in the 07 vs 08 and is worth going for the 08
Trading a 2003 with Ent

The '08 comes standard with an auto day/night mirror, where the '07 has a manual day/night mirror.
May not be much of a difference, but I guarantee the $623 of saving on an '07 will be offset by the fact that the car is already a year old (resale wise)
If I were you, I'd go for the '08. |

| I'd definitely go for the 08. No doubt. The only real question now is what package & color combo? |

I agree, after the mirror cost, you are only saving $400 on the 07, but losing up to a few thousand in depreciation.
get the 08 |

That is a great price on the '07, and even better on the '08.
Like everyone else, the '08 is the way I would go.
Do the prices include any destination and documentation fees?
I haven't seen any dealers come that low on an '08 yet, so I'm betting there is a gothca somewhere.
Mind sharing your location? I'm hearing prices vary by region. |

Add me to the list that is very curious about your specifics. If this does indeed include destination charges, it would be under invoice (08).
Let us know the details as we are all shopping here. If this price was presented before me, I WOULD JUMP ALL OVER THE 08. |

beat them up more on the 07, the dimming mirror is a pain and with tinted windows it is useless i.m.o.
Also, what you think you will lose on depreciation by having a one year older truck, you will recpature by having that many less miles.
example, in 2 years, 2009, lets say my truck would have 40,000 miles.
if the truck was an 08, that equals 40,000 miles in one model year and thats how they will look at it in regards to re-sale value so you lose a big amount because of overage miles on a newer truck.
if the truck is an 07, that has 40,000 miles, in 2009 it will look closer to the average and they will not deduct a huge amount off re-sale value becuase of that.
just my 2 cents and how I look at it.
I got mine 3 weeks ago and could have waited for the 08's but I drive 35,000 miles a year so any advantage I can get will help later in re-sale value and they were dyeing to get rid of the 07's so I saved a couple more bucks. |
