Less than 500 miles on my MDX and I'm noticing creaking from the steering column. At first I thought it was a dashboard creak but it's definitely coming from the steering column. It's noticeable going over bumps and making turns. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions? Any threads?

I've driven almost 700 miles and have not heard anything from the steering column.

If the radio or air conditioning is on, or if the windows are open, I can't here it. But if it's quiet in the car it's very noticable when I move the steering wheel slightly back and forth or when hitting small bumps while driving down the road.

Are you sure it's from the steering column? A few weeks ago, I kept hearing this creaking sound and I could have sworn it was coming from my seat. I thought for the longest time that my driver's seat was loose. I finally figured out that the noise came from a plastic water bottle left in the rear passenger door. I would suggest you take everything out of your car including anything in the glove box, center console, sunglass holder, under your seat, etc... and then see if the noise continues. If it still does, you should take it back to the dealer to have them check it out.

There is a TSB for the creaking in the steering wheel. Search for TSB's in the forum and you will find it....sorry for the non-link. The wire harness needs to be re-packed under the horn.

Thanks for the info on the TSB. I also read that there is a TSB for a misaligned combination switch in the column. I'm taking it soon for this and some other issues.
