When I purchased my 07 MDX last month (used under 10k) I only received 1 remote/key (#2) transmitter. I just received the other remote (#1) today. The lock/unlock wouldn't' work but I was able to program the remote and now this function works. The key will lock/unlock the doors manually using the drivers door key slot and the key will fit the ignition activating everything except................ it won't start!!Cranks away but WON'T START!!! I get a flashing green key symbol.
Any thoughts, ideas, comments, suggestions?

Weird to hear you have this kind of problem. Sounds like it's time for the dealer to have a look at that remote.
P.S. As of now, your current #2 key is fine w/ the start up? If not, check battery? How about the valet key? You have that & does it work? |

For an unknown reason the smart chip for the ignition is not being read.
You will need to go to the dealer and have it programmed in.

| Did you just receive the other key fob in the mail? If so, it won't work until the chip inside the key is programmed. The flashing key symbol is the "You're trying to use an unauthorized key to start this car, buddy" warning light. |

All cars should come with two remotes a one valet. Why did you get one only in the first place? |

I purchased my MDX used and not from a dealer. The salesperson
said he would get me another remote as part of the deal, and can you believe it he did!! I have to take it to a dealer and have the 2 remotes and valet key programed/re programed to the same code.The dealer gave me a price of $80. |
