Hi,
I am new to the MDX forum. I have a 2005 Touring and also a 2006 RL. I have read most of the posts on the 07 forum and am planning on replacing my MDX as soon as Acura comes out with another finance incentive. Hopefully early november. My wife is specific that she wants the steel blue/taupe color combo, the same as our current. My dealer in Cleveland cannot locate a sport/ent in this combo, and says that even if he orders it, Acura may not build unless they get 30 orders for the same thing. Can members search their local dealers to see if there is such vehicle on a lot.

PS: After sitting in the MDX several times about the only faults I can find is the new armrest is not bilevel like 05, and RL, and also the steering wheel leather is much lower quality than 05, and has a poor feel with sharper stitching (very similar to my RL).
Why the most important tactile element of the vehicle is so poorly made is beyond me (think Lexus LS wheel...hand stitched etc) The wheel on the TL and TSX is much better. i don't like the wood wheel since the"wood" is not smoothly integrated to the leather. |
