| Just registered as a new user on the forum. Picked up my Silver 2008 with sport and Ent packages a couple of weeks ago and have a few questions. Did anyone purchase the $500 Simonize protection inside and out from their dealer? Also was looking at the 19 inch rims in the accesories store and wondered if anyone has them on their ride and in the gallery to see what they look like. |

First off, congratulations on your new car (I see that great minds think alike here...). Second; nope, no simonizing package here. Third; I have the standard Sport wheels on my X, but I've seen the 19" wheels in the wild, and I've gotta say they look a whole lot better in person than they do on the page (or computer screen). Do a search in this forum and see what turns up. I feel as though I recall someone complaining about them for some reason or another, but I could be mistaken on that count.

| Hi, welcome to the forums and congrats on the new X. DId you buy from courtsey Acura in Sanford? The simonez stuff is just to make some money, but i highly reccommend mobile guardian tracking services, it works well and you have control. If you did get it from courtsey, talk to heather in finace, she can arrage it all for you. Also if you go in for servicing, talk to either RJ Lores or Justin Micain, they are both very friendly and mention that someone from acurazine sent you, they will treat you like a king/queen. |

| Thanks guys. I bought from Crown Acura in Clearwater. I was wondering about the protection the dealer offered more for the interior than the exterior. I had wanted the Ebony interior but settled for the Taupe and was worried about the light color. I appreciate all the info. |

Yes I bought the same protection package as you. Mine is $600. Beside protecting the entire exterior (paint, glass, metal, plastic, etc.), the interior is heavily concentrate on leather & carpet. You can spill water on carpet & it won't soak. Sort of like a repell. They say this protection lasts 4 year until reaply 2nd time, but I think it's much sooner than that. |
