| About a month ago I spilled probably a gallon or two of composted grass "juice" in my MDX. Unfortunately, despite scrubbing and shampooing for hours, the car still stunk ! Pretty close to unbearable. Anyhow, it was a one big PIA to replace the carpet, but made for a cool pic :-) (after new carpet installed). |

You should have installed a killer AV stereo system while it was down to its skivies!
I think you are now the expert in 07 MDX interiors. That looks like it was a lot of work. |

Holy cow!
... this reminds me about the SRS switch/light drama in the past 2000 Accord. Not fun.... |

should have kept on going, like the string that's pulled from a

| Holy crap! When I first saw your pic, I thought someone stole your MDX and stripped it down. |

LOL :-) not much else to stip down on the inside. I've already removed some of the rear trim to install back up sensors in the past. Hopefully never have to do this again. I've learned my lesson on what I should/shouldn't carry in my MDX.
if someone wants to race an MDX, you could save 200-300 lbs this way. (someone on the audi forum has done this to his A4 including removing the rubber sound proofing).
as far as rattles, no way it's going to be more than normal. the OEM carpet fit perfectly. the only thing that might rattle are the seat bolts which are torqued down properly and won't rattle. |
