Not having had an MDX before this may seem likea dumb question but regarding the back seat windows; they don`t ROLL down ALL THE WAY like the front windows. About 4-5 inches of the window is still exposed. Thanks

... on many vehicles today. Particulary vehicles geared toward families with young children in the back seat. I believe that more cars do this than don't?

Didn't really measure, but seems to be more like 2 inches, then 4-5. In my previous car, rear windows would "tilt" in the lowest position to leave enough room for the elbow of the 2nd-row passenger to actually rest on the door frame, not a thin window edge. I am almost certain that MDX has a similar feature.

I think that the shape of the rear door is the reason that many rear windows don't go all the way down. Most rear doors are tapered/shaped at the bottom to accomodate the rear wheel placement. The shape and size of the lower door section doesn't provide enough room for the window to be fully retracted.
