As the days are getting cooler, I have not needed to use the A/C as much. Sometimes, I like to drive with the system off altogether.
Recently, I have noticed that air will flow out of the vents when the entire system is off. It seems like the system is just allowing outside air to flow into the car, which I would expect. However, the air was blowing quite hard - almost like the fan was on a medium-low setting.
Has anyone else experienced this? I can eliminate the air by turning on the recirculate, but I'd like a little fresh air blowing in, just not a such a high rate. |

I haven't had a chance to drive much with the AC off, but what you are referring to is quite common if you had the outside air option on. The air will still flow when the unit is off.
Try this, turn the AC on, switch to recirculating air flow, then turn it off. That has fixed this issue for me in previous vehicles. |
