I was farting around with my key, and unlinked it. Okay, you're supposed to be able to fo that. Fine. The problem is that when I tried to re-link it (press lock and unlock together and wait for the double blink), nada. Nothing. I also tried linking the second key, which I had never bothered doing up until tonight. Again, zip. Zilch. So now, whenever I drive my X, I have to redo my settings (color scheme, daylight savings time, interface feedback...), and I can't enter my PIN to access my stored addresses. It's serious pain the arse. I've read the manual backwards and forwards to no avail.
Can anyone help a brother here?

| It's supposed to blink once to link. There may be a setting in the MID too. |

Are you certain about this? Well, I'll give it another try when I get home from work tonight, but I could've sworn that two-blinks indicated that the key was linked.
Anyway, thanks for responding, and if it is in fact one blink, well... I'm a moron.

I admit to nothing (beyond being a moron, that is).
But seriously, it's quite a relief to have the key linked again. I can't begin to tell you what a PITA it was to deal with the X's cold shoulder. She's one harsh mistress when scorned.
