| Anyone that has the Sport Running Board - does the end of the running board aligns or flushes to the end corner of the rear wheel's side half circumference? Mine is about an inch short. Just wondering if I installed mine incorrectly... |

I had mine installed by the dealer, and on the one side there seems to be a slight gap between the end of the runing board and the car.
I plan on having the dealer take a look at it when I take it in for the first oil change. Mine seems to be more of a gap width wise instead of length wise like yours. |

The gap can certainly be adjusted as the bracket can be moved back a little but mine comes up short...don't know what else to do... |

| I'll check mines tonight. Is there also a gap in the front part of the running board? |

I put mine on about a month ago myself. They look just like yours with a small gap. I f I remember correctly I was more concerned with getting a tight fit at the front. I don't believe there is anymore adjustment towards the rear.

| ... No gap front or back, left or right. A perfect job? |

| Mine also has the same gap. I wouldn't worry about it. |

Mine has a gap at the back...
Even though I don't care about the gap, I am a little curious to know how this can be fixed. I had the dealer install mine.
Right side... |

| Great to know I'm not the only one. But seeing some of you have it perfectly align and I'm sure these boards are created equal, I might be able to push it further back...I'll give it a try this weekend and post back the result. |

Hey LionSpeed, can you take another side view pic (not angled) like mahen of the back side and post?
Thanks! |

| From what I can see from the photos Lionspeed has the front fender garnish attached to his sport running boards. Is theis the difference between the dealer installed and the do it yourself installed boards. I would prefer not to spend $200 + to tighten 20 nuts. |

| I installed mine myself, back end of the boards have a finger wide space to the edge of the fender. By design it is like that I guess. |

Mine don't seem to have what you have by design. :2: |

Here's how we can get rid of the gap.
Cut the MDX in half, grind down about half an inch and weld it back. |

Today, Friday afternoon, on my way home, saw a silver 2nd gen X sports w/ sport running boards. Let me tell you, the gap is unbelievable. At least 2 INCHES. Holy smoke, that's the biggest most hideous gap that I've seen so far.
Wondering if the owner even notices that gap. |

That can't be good...there's a slight chance that someone might step on the plastic end part |
