Has anybody had an experience with their 2007 MDX Tech's 4 windows openning automatically about 1" from top when it is parked and locked? This happened to me twice. Parked the car, made sure I locked all doors and windows before I left. When I got back to the car, all the 4 windows were openned 1" from the top.

While I've never experienced this personally, I seem to recall someone else complaining about something similar. I would suggest doing a search and seeing if you can find the post I'm referring to (of course, I could be imagining things...).

Out of curiosity, was your sunroof also open slightly? I ask because the only reason I can think of to explain this phenomenon is some type of issue with the automatic window/sunroof opening function of the remote.

I am not sure if the sunroof opens as well when the windows openned. I'll check next time it happens again. However, I made sure evrything is locked and closed before I left the car including the sunroof.

I had this happen the other day, and the sunroof was open as well. I am pretty sure I must of hit the fob in my pocket while walking away, so it started to open and when I got out of range, it stopped.

My guess anyway

Have not happened to me. Just wondering, when you noticed the gap were your doors also unlocked?

I have also had this happen a few times. I assumed i must have held the unlock button down to long when I was walking to my car.

If you hit the unlock button a second time and hold it down. the windows will all open at the same rate. The sunroof will open as well. I happen to like this feature when it's hot outside. Gives the interior a few seconds to cool off before I get in the car. Haven't had it happen accidentally yet.

It's been like 65-75 for 3 weeks long here in SoCal. Too cold to open anything. :1: :1: :1:

I am not sure, I clicked unlock before I noticed.

Does the MDX have the feature where if you unlock a door with the fob, but don't open it in X seconds, it locks again?

My Maxima did this, and I think the Acura does too, but I am not sure.

yes it does. I believe you can even adjust to relocking time as well. :29:

Yes, it's an option in the MID. Anywhere from 30 sec to 2 min I believe.

Yep, I tested it and it works. So if the windows are down, it is still likely to be locked by the time you get to it, or more specifically it will have relocked itself.
