I've been using Costco gas for almost two years now and I'm getting 19mpg highway tops. I've switched to Pilot and Mobil, and I got 20 and 23.1mpg (got excited and took a picture !:2: ). I wonder if any of you has the same experience.....

I intermittently use Costco gas when I am near a station, I really don't have any issues with it. All of the gas comes from the same place, but each brand adds their own additives (i.e. detergents) to it. I would think that Costco is just using someone else's additives. Most "generic" brands of goods are a non-generic that has been relabled, and I am sure the Costco gas is no exception. |

I assume that these Pilot and Mobile figures are from at least 3 full tanks of fuel. That the driving conditions and temperatures were the same for your Costco, Pilot and Mobile. If not then they are meaningless.
