The only reason I would get the update is for the daylight savings fix (and frankly, I would argue that it should be free since the prior version should have included the patch for law that was passed in 2005).

| I actually did notice a difference, although it was primarily due to a significant update for my area (SE NC). The 2007 version (4.55/4.56) advertised more detail but, in fact, the changes did not update until 4.62. As expected, I noticed the standard updates in terms of POIs and restaurant listings, etc., but also noted enhancements of geographic features (rivers, lakes, parks, etc.) - much more detail. Not sure I'd pony up $185 unless your area shows as updated, but I picked up a copy on eBay from someone in Canada who was forced to purchase both the US and Canadian versions and only wanted the Canadian (apparently both come bundled when buying the Canadian version)... |

| Anyone know why the 4.62 DVD is on backorder? When I called to inquire she said there were a few released and a problem was revealed with the new version so they put them on hold until it was fixed. Just wondering what the problem was so I don't buy a bad one on eBay. |

| First I've heard of an official problem, but one that I have come across is the voice command when changing CDs and tracks not performing correctly...the correct CD is typically played, but the track numbers are never right. For example, "CD, play disc five, track five" loads CD #5 but launches track #10... |

I am browsing since may days for navi to mdx 07 base model.
I have bought MDX 07 base model, I am looking to upgrade with installing OEM or Aftermarket Navigation system(dash) to my mdx 07.
If any one know info please let me know |
