Ive had an annoying clatter noise coming from the passenger side airbag area in the dash. It only occurs when the weather is cool (I never heard it once during the summer), and I can easily reproduce it by tapping the air bag area when it is cold.
I read in this forum a person that found a similar problem and fixed it by having the dealer tighten the air bag clamps.
My question is: to get to these clamps does the dealer need to take off the dash? Or can he take out the air bag directly from the dash or via the glove compartment?
I just ask since im not sure I want them taking the dash off (and I dont want to pay the extra money for this).
