Hi There,
I have just recently purchased a 2002 MDX in the states. After more reading (always after more) I have come to find out the Nav is not good value in Canada and I may not be able to use it. If I am mis informed I was hoping someone could shed some light on the Nav in a 2002 and how I can ensure the system is up to date and I can use it effectively.
Thanks for your time :) |

I have an 04 and 06 with Navigation. Before I updated the disc on my 04, there were some outlying areas that were missing, but in the Greater Toronto Area it was fine. The update and my 06 is much better. I suggest it is very useful. I use it extensively in the course of my employment. Great Option. |

Do you know what disc I would need to get the 2002 up to date?
Do you need a disc for every year to update it or just the latest ?
Sorry I am very green on this issue
Thanks :) |

I am not quite sure. I lucked out as a freind was selling his 04 and had just bought an updated disc. I suggest you call your dealer. If anything all your discs should be updated, to help you were you live as well. |

| The 'black label' navigation systems (your 2002 is one of them) do not, and most likely never will, have Canadian coverage. Unfortunately, there is no way to upgrade it either. |
