We have a blck MDX and I am about to order a rear deflector from Tim. The question is, especially to those of you with Black MDXs, is whether or not it is worth the extra $125 to have them painted. If money were no object, then I would definetely order them painted. But if, because they come black, they look great without painting, I'd like to save the extra $ and put it toward a wood kit.
Thoughts and comments, as well as pictures, would be sincerely appreciated. I've already searched the Forum for pictures, and found a few, but none that have pushed me either way.
Thanks.

| I say save your money -- the flat black of the unpainted deflector matches all the other black trim on the car (e.g. roof rack, mud flaps) and looks AOK. |

| Agreed. Since you have black vehicle, I don't think you need it. As TheWorm says, it matches some of the other trim on the vehicle so it all works. Had you been going for a different look with a lighter color, painting the deflector may be more of an issue. |

I also agree with Worm. I considered this same question and ended up going unpainted and think it looks fine. At the time I made the decision, I asked and no one else had gotten their TD painted. |
