My wife has a 02 with 92K and the ride is like a truck (actually worse than my Ford Super Duty diesel). Shocks on the MDX were done within the past 5K miles (OEM) and when I took it for a ride the other day I was surprised as I remember is riding much better when newer. I do here a slight clunk, but before I bring it in I was wondering what bushings tend to go bad around 100K miles? I exercized the SEARCH feature, but did not have any conclusive information.
Thanks in advance.

| if you have a clunk, it could be a sign of bad shocks. Other causes could be loose bolts or the bump stop needing to be lubed, along with an improper spring install or an unproperly seated spring. As far as bushings go, i think it would be the ones for the sway bars, I would also check the endlinks for any wear and tear requiring replacement. |
