Looking for feedback,

Considering a 2006 MDX Touring, has 4900 miles on it, price for it is $34,100. Clean, looks like new, it should with the low miles on it.

Feedback appreciated.

Sorry, did not note, this is non navi and no DVD.

Seems pretty high to me.

I got my base '06 in October, 2006 and have had it for a year.

My purchase price was $33,328. It had 49 miles on it.

I am up in the air about it, NADA retail is $37,100, trade is $33,100 and split book on it is $35,100.

The only thing that really makes it appealing at this point is the miles. It is hard to find one with miles this low on it, the wife has decided that she is not fond of the new body style (looks wise). No offense to those that have one.............

I happen to agree with you on the styling of the '07.

But remember that on the '06 there was a $3,000 rebate, they were sold at invoice and in my case, the dealer threw in $500 of his hold back.

So as a guide, the car originally sold for invoice less $3500. I believe the asking price is about what the purchase price was.

I find KBB is very good when cars are 3 years or older. I always use the trade in price, which approximates wholesale.

But both KBB and Edmunds are clueless when the car is 1 or 2 years old.

If you look at the '07 they will have used values above what you can buy a new one for - basically invoice.

Thanks everyone for your help.

Picked up an 06 Touring, Aspen White with Navi/DVD for about the same price. It had a few more miles on it, 23k, but I still consider the miles to be decent. But it was immaculate inside and out, looked as good as the one with 4900 miles on it.

Congrats on the purchase. I hope you enjoy it. :2:
