Anyone else have a problem like this? I am trying to keep my temper but gee whiz this is annoying.
It also depends how long the car has been sitting on the lot before they sold the car to you. If they checked the battery and it's still good, you will need to do a slow charge on the battery. A slow charge will take a few days to revive a drained battery. This is the correct way to properly recharge a battery. A quick charge that only takes 5 to 10 minutes won't work as it only provides a surface charge that will dissipate after a few days, and you're back down to a dead battery. Also have the dealer check to make sure that there isn't a large parasitic draw from the battery when the key is out of the ignition. Normal draw is around 23 milliamps. |
