I just experience my 1st issue with RearView camera display. When I pop it in to reverse today my rear view display just when whacky. Its just like TV with bad antenna. I try take it out of REVERSE and wait 5 sec then put it in REVERSE again but issue won't go away. Finally, I did an engine shut off and then restart. This did the trick. I don't know if this going to be replicatable at the dealer so I'm not gonna bother with it right now.
Anyone has experience this issue and got it fixed? |

Afew months back I had this happen on a very rainy day (not sure if something got wet).
The reare-view display was garbled like a scrambled cable signal.
It has not happened since, so I am just assuming it is one of those 'hidden' features. |

Yes, I've seen that on more than one occasion ... it just goes all wonky and jerky and scrambled.
When that has happened, though, I just kept on going, and in a couple of cases it cleared up before I finished backing up.
I figure it's either happening right when it's trying to display the Nav splash screen and it suddenly tries to switch to the backup camera display, or it's maybe a reaction to lighting changes (like when I back out of my shaded garage into the bright sun).
