For the 2nd gen MDX owners, where do you live/drive and how it affects frequency of the wheel alignments you have to do (if at all) ?

Why is this question being posed to 2nd gen X owners. Wheel alignment target all car owners/driver irrespective of manufacter and model/year .
Anyways, I recently did my alignment - after 2 years of ownership. Typically , one should do a driving test on a straight lane highway.
Drive in the middle lane at 45+ mph and take your hands off the wheel, if you feel that the vehicle is dragging off the lane , then you got an alignment problem. The second test is when you notice uneven wear on the outer edges of your tires.

I think it would be different for everyone and every car, there really any correct formula.
If the car pulls or the steering wheel if off center, you may need one. If your tires show abnormal wear you may need one. I personally would do it whenever I have to replace the tires.

First, suspension is different on the 2nd gen, and changes could have been towards better or worse design.

I am looking whether or not there are known issue which result in the alignment getting off sooner than "normal". As I may have posted in other threads, I am having huge problem with my 05 Ody where I need to re-align it every 2000-3000 miles. I suspect that the problem is most likely related to that particular design and due to low tire profile on the PAX wheels.

I am hoping that this car does not need alignment as often as my R....that car needs them every 5k to 10k, and it goes out pretty easily.
