I'm a Honda enthusiast so when I decided I want to upgrade my 2door civic to an SUV my first choice was the MDX.
So my question to you guys is, while I'm out and about shopping around. What are some things I should look for? Also, how are the transmissions and the AWD system? Are they reliable? How about the motor. I'll be looking at the 2003-04 models since thats about all my budget will let me go. |

| The 01 and 02 were plagued by teething issues and of course the infamous transmission failures. Scant reports of tranny failures on 03, virtually none on 04+. I would get at least an 04 since that's when there were relatively major changes - power increase, drive-by-wire throttle, new projector headlights which are easily modifiable to HIDs, new NAV system, and the available RES. |
