Hello Everyone,
I am considering the new MDX for my next purchase and had a question. I will be towing a bassboat ~2500 pounds. Will the MDX suffice for towing the boat, or should I look towards a different direction? I just love how this car looks inside and out. |

The new X is rated for 5000lbs, so I would think that you'd be fine towing your boat.

I agree; It should be no problem to tow your boat with the X.
It comes standard with coolers etc for the extra strain on the engine. The only thing that you will need is to have the tow hitch attached. The OEM hitch looks a lot better than aftermark hitches, though costs a bit more. It requires a replacement bumper trim kit. |

| I have towed our Caravelle 207 with dual axle trailer with my 07 MDX without any drama. I estimate the boat/trailer and junk in boat weighs 4500# at least. |

| My Malibu Sunsetter inboard ski boat is 2900 pounds dry plus the trailer. No problem towing, though I've never had it in the hills. Bass boat should be a piece of cake. Tom |
