Seems that no current verizon phone is compatible with the addressbook download feature on the 07 and 08 X's.
Can someone tell me what I am missing out on? I can dial by number, but I would much rather dial somehow by name or browsing through the contacts.. I guess I could add them to the addressbook in NAv system and dial them from there..Would that work?
Too bad someone doesn't make a bluetooth software to run on a laptop to upload contacts to car...

| Yeah, adding numbers to the MDX phonebook will work. You can then personalize by just voice dialing. Not many phones feature the downloadable phonebook anyway. |

Ok, so I see how you can add them manually by just doing phone -> store voice commands.. That seems to work..
So what does importing the phone book really get you? Can you browse the phone book entries in the cluster display or only on the NAV screen?

| You know I'm not sure if the phonebook will appear in the MID, but it will appear in the NAV screen and then you can scroll or do voice commands from there. |

Yea, can do things like "1" to select the item.. That is neat.
So basically to recap there are two phone books.. A voice phone book you program manually as part of HFL.. and then the addressbook as part of nav you can view in the NAV screen.. This correct?
