hello, i am new to the site and i was hoping i could get some advice. i have an 03 mdx and there is a relay sized box on the firewal with a vacuum hose going to it and there is an additional port but no hose. is this normal or am i missing a hose? thanks

It's the same on mine. I wouldn't worry about it.

It's a filtered breather for the transmission. It's mounted high to minimize the chance of water entering transmission during high water ops. There is no known service interval. What looks like a port for a missing vacuum line is just where air enters or exits to equalize pressure.

My 2003 is configured just like yours...and runs fine. Probably normal
