Anyone know how the MDX's rate compared to other SUV's?
So far, I'm impressed. I was just flying up the mountain on the weekend for skiing, passing everyone. I was wondering why every was travelling so slow.
Until I came on the accident. A Toyota 4-Runner had somehow slipped off and landed in the ditch the other way around, and a Volvo had ended up perpendicular to it, ON TOP of the 4-Runner. I got out of the car and immediately realized the road surface was frosted all over, I could take a short running start and slide a good 10-15m on the road on my hiking boots!
I chatted with another guy who got there before me, and he mentioned he was slowly crawling up, since at the first corner, he'd slid across 2 lanes due to the slippery conditions.
And here's me in my MDX, I feel NO slippage, just blasting my way up!
(Yes, I know what slippage feels like, I used to toss around my GS-R like crazy, just for fun). |
