Been reading this forum for a while now and it's so informative.
I was looking for a 2008 MDX Sport and was got the price down to $41,500.
I then saw a 2007 MDX Sport w/Ent and got the price down to $41.295.
Are these good deals?
Thanks in advance! |

| If you're going to keep it for more than 5 years then by all means get the '07. To me a no brainer. If you're more of a 2-3 year type buyer then you might not want to buy "last year's model". I have a great offer on an '07 Sport but haven't pulled the trigger because even at this price I'm not sure I want to spend this much on a vehicle. Such a stupid way to spend money, but so much fun to drive a nice ride! |

| Depends on your needs. The ENT package with power tailgate is worth the difference to me with the kids and all. Not much difference between 07 and 08 to justify the price difference. |

I live in the Los Angeles area so my tax is 8.25% and I think license fees are about 2%.
The quoted price is pre tax & tags. |

| ^ ouch ...8.5 ... but the pre tax value etc seems good to me for a 07 sport/ent :29: |

If this is a new 07 with less than 20 or so miles on it then it is an excellent price.
As someone previously stated, if you are going to keep the car for awhile, get the 07.

Both seem to be very good prices.
I would personally lean towards the '07 since I tend to keep cars a while.
On the '07 make sure you have full warranty from your purchase date (ie validate that the car has not already been 'put in service' by the dealership).
Also check if there are any other hidden 'documentation' or 'administration' fees. It's a typically tact by a dealership to add another $600-1000 to the cost. This is one of those costs that is painful to find out about on when your doing 'final' paperwork. |

Is this before any incentive is applied?
This is a very good price if you can still get 2.9% or $2500.

Both these prices are below invoice. The 07 is substantially below invoice. Are you kidding asking if incentives could be applied in addition???

| I would think that price includes the incentives ....I doubt the dealer didn't take that into consideration prior to negotiating...it's the same incentives since Nov 1st ...all the way through to Jan 1st or so. |
