| Sport ...no kids yet...no one sits in the back there unless family comes over...so no need for the second row heaters or the RES ....would have added the power tailgate if I could have done that by itself...but unfortunately that's not an option  |

Add me to that list ;). Of course, I have yet to watch a movie in the back since I'm always the one driving. The 5.1 surround is pretty decent. As long as the rugrats are happy, I'm happy.

Transformers has taken up permanent residency in the RES. :D |

Transformers ..lol :) ...great movie :29:
I asked the question since I think most of the people who get the full package are people with kids...I still find that the tailgate option should be seperate from the ent package. |

I doubt I would've gone for the Entertainment package if I didn't foresee the need to pacify pint-sized passengers in the rear, however I definitely would've missed the rear seat heaters and power liftgate. It's a shame that these aren't available as standalone options, though I understand the rationale behind this even if I don't necessarily agree with the packaging (the liftgate really ought to be part of the Tech package...).
FWIW, I have had the occasion to sit in back and watch my beloved sci-fi while my wife drives us back into the city. True, the best spot in the X is front/left, but riding in the back on a cold night with the seat heater going, the seat back reclined, and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan playing through the headphones is pretty nice too. At least so long as the baby is sleeping...

| Just wondering, on the non-Ent models (ie. no power liftgate), when you close the liftgate, do you have to shut it like you would shut the hood or simply lower it and it retracts completely? |

| ..I didn't know that the Tech/Ent or Sport/Ent had a power tailgate.. wow! My dad enjoyed my Tech so much, he is going to trade his Oddy into one - if the next step up has a power tailgate, then he may go for that one instead... though it is an extra 5k here in .ca |

| I have a power tailgate (Sport/Ent) but I just realized a while ago that if I manually close the tailgate, I don't have to push it in because it will just latch itself. And all the while Ive been pushing it in like it wasnt a power tailgate at all. |

| Same here. Used to sort of slam the rear hatch like my Tahoe's heavy lid. Then heard the little motor whirring away latching the hatch. Now I just get it close and it does the rest. That's when I'm not lazy and just push the button. :D |
